The Matiya-Kinney Scholarship

We realize it is often difficult for teachers to get their school districts to pay for out of town, or in some cases, in town, travel. As anyone who has attended NCSS will tell you, the weekend is amazing and very professionally rewarding. Thus, each year we would like to raise money to sponsor an NCSSPC member and pay their NCSS Conference Registration.

This initiative is named the Jim Matiya-Dale Kinney Conference Scholarship in honor of the years of dedication Dale and Jim gave to high school psychology and the NCSS "Psych-Sig" (communities in NCSS used to be called Special Interest Groups).

In order to raise this money, the NCSSPC needs your help. Please consider
making a contribution on one of the four tiers.  If you are interested in applying for the grant, information will be made available in the May newsletter.

Thank you SO MUCH for making a contribution to this cause. Unfortunately, we are not in the position to offer you an tax exemption since we do not meet the IRS requirements to do so. But, each donation will earn you a free gift courtesy of the NCSSPC.
